WHERE I STARTED
A career left behind, an instinct that stayed
I was born and raised in El Salvador, where I trained and worked as a civil engineer — a profession I'd planned to make my life's work. That changed when my family moved to Texas and I stepped away from my career to raise my daughters.
But the engineer in me never left. Wherever I went, I saw rooms the way other people see paintings: as systems waiting to be solved.
HOW I GOT HERE
From passion to profession
Organizing was always something I loved — long before I knew it could be a profession. What started as a hobby slowly turned into helping family and friends, and eventually became Organizing by Ivonne.
Today, I serve families across Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, Galveston, and the surrounding areas — turning the rooms you avoid into the ones you love. And as co-founder of Pro Organizers Latinas, I get to do something just as meaningful: helping other Latina organizers in our community grow their own businesses, using everything I've learned along the way.
